If SSE fails to publish the underlying index for calculating 

the final settlement price of an EC contract on time, the 

final settlement of the contract will be affected. In this 

case, INE will wait for the publication for a reasonable 

period. If SSE still fails to publish P1 and P2 before 3:05 

p.m. Beijing time on the Wednesday of the week when 

they should be published, or fails to publish P3 before 3:30 

p.m. Beijing time on the day when it should be published, 

INE may determine P1, P2, and P3 based on market 

conditions and announce them to the market on a timely 

basis.
