According to INE’s General Exchange Rules, subject to approval by 

INE, foreign currencies, standard warrants, Chinese government 

bonds, and other stable, liquid assets may be used as margin. INE 

may determine the assets that can be used as margin collaterals at 

its discretion. At current stage, INE does not accept letter of credit 

as margin collateral.
